On May 18th, we held our very first Turkish Lamp Workshop at Pioneer Square, and it was a huge hit! Everyone was excited to dive into the world of Turkish mosaic lamp crafting for the first time.

Our host began with a quick introduction to the cultural background of Turkish lamps and a step-by-step guide to the crafting process. Participants eagerly picked out their favorite colorful glass pieces and beads to create their unique designs. Lily, one of the attendees, said, "I thought making this would be difficult, but it's actually quite simple! I never considered myself artistic, but this workshop has shown me the joy of creating!"

As everyone got into the flow, they followed templates and even started experimenting with their own combinations to craft their personalized Turkish mosaic lamps. Olivia, another participant, shared, "This is so relaxing and stress-relieving! Watching these glass pieces come together is incredibly satisfying."

To enhance the experience, we also provided a spread of delicious snacks and drinks. Participants enjoyed the treats as they worked on their handmade mosaic lamps.

Throughout the event, ideas and inspiration flowed freely. One participant exclaimed, "This is my first time making a handcrafted lamp, and it’s so much fun. The final product is beautiful! I can't believe I made it!"

As the workshop concluded, everyone proudly held their newly made Turkish stained glass lamps, beaming with joy for a group photo. It was a wonderful experience, bringing people together to create something beautiful.
